Another broken promise
My father was a union machinist, and because of that, our family had stability, security, and a shot at the American Dream. Unions deliver respect, fair wages, and safe working conditions. They don't just lift up paychecks–they lift up entire communities and drive an economy that works for everyone, not just the wealthy few.
So when Trump signed an illegal executive order that ends collective bargaining with federal unions at some agencies, it was another attack in a long line of attacks on working families.
Candidate Trump promised to protect workers. President Trump is throwing that all away. His anti-worker union busting is straight out of Project 2025.
Unions built the middle class, and they are the backbone of an economy that rewards and lifts up hard-working people. I will always stand with union workers across the country.
Last month, I joined my colleagues in reintroducing the PRO Act, bipartisan legislation that protects and strengthens the rights of workers in Oregon and across the country to collectively bargain for fairer wages, better benefits, and safer workplaces.
Passing the PRO Act would empower America's workers to improve their working conditions with better pay, benefits, and safety through collectively bargaining for a better deal.
I will never stop fighting for working families and ensuring they have every opportunity to succeed.
Onward!
