The Cook Political Report rates 8 Democratic seats up for grabs
I've talked about how critical it is that we hold the Democratic Senate Majority in November. Now, The Cook Political Report rates the 8 Democratic seats that are up for grabs.
That's right, we not only have to support our 5 Democratic incumbents in MT, PA, WI, NV, and OH, but we also have to win in MD, AZ, and MI. In addition to those 8, if we keep building our grassroots power and really dig deep, we can put TX and FL in play as well.
How do we get all this done? Well, the only way it would be possible to win all these races in November is if our grassroots team starts organizing TODAY.
If we win every single one of these 8 competitive seats and pick up TX and FL, we'd have a 52-seat majority in the Senate. That means we won't have to worry about one or two Democratic Senators holding important bills hostage, and we'd finally have a chance to reform the filibuster!
Gun safety, voting rights, labor protections, campaign finance reform, reproductive rights, immigration reform, and more would be back on the table if we can expand our Democratic Senate Majority by winning all across the country!
Nothing is impossible when our strong grassroots team comes together and builds momentum to fight for our progressive values.
