The honest truth
In previous emails, I've been telling you how tough the Senate races are this cycle and that we have to win 7 out of 7 critical races to keep the Senate out of Mitch McConnell's control.
That is the challenging truth.
But let's also celebrate some great developments that are good news for 2024!
On election day earlier this month, Democrats across the country came out and voted in droves.
In Ohio, voters proclaimed that they believe women's health care decisions should be between them and their doctors, not right-wing politicians hellbent on restricting abortion rights. In Virginia, voters chose to send a Democratic majority to the Virginia state Senate and House, stopping MAGA extremists' plan to take total control of state government and enact their out-of-touch agenda.
When you're in a challenging fight, you need to seize every advantage you can, and this year’s strong Democratic turnout and continued sign that concerns over abortion restrictions is a motivating issue for voters are both good news for us in 2024. Let's keep that momentum going to grow our grassroots energy all the way until November 5, 2024 – Election Day!
Our country can't afford the disaster of another Congress entirely controlled by Republicans. We know what happens when they're in charge – they create chaos and force through dangerous and extreme laws that hurt Americans.
