Our team is joining forces with Indivisible Oregon

We talk a lot about 2024's November elections, but this November, there are hundreds of Democrats up and down the ballot that need our support in critical elections across the country.

Right now, Virginians are casting ballots in state elections that will decide the balance of power in the General Assembly. Republicans currently control the House and only need to pick up a few seats in the Senate to gain total control of the state legislature. But Governor Glenn Youngkin, a Republican, has already said that he'll use Republican control of the legislature to enact a 15-week abortion ban — a ban that would impact not only Virginians, but also residents in other southern states who come to Virginia for abortion access.

Because the stakes are too high to sit on the sidelines, our team is joining forces with Indivisible Oregon to help send out Vote Forward letters ahead of the 2023 Virginia November elections. These personal, handwritten letters are sent to Democratic-leaning voters in Virginia's critical swing seats who need just a little extra nudge to vote before polls close. In addition to protecting access to safe abortion care in the state by electing Democrats this November, engaging voters now helps lay the groundwork for success in 2024.

Today, I'm asking you to pitch in whatever you can, even if it's $1, to support the Virginia Big Send Fund. This Fund will pay for stamps and related expenses for volunteers to send those letters.
