Justice Samuel Alito; Resign.
We need to talk about Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito.
Propublica recently revealed that Justice Alito accepted hedge fund billionaire Paul Singer’s gift of a flight on a private jet to take a luxury Alaskan fishing vacation. Afterward, Alito not only left the free flight off his financial disclosure forms, but didn’t recuse himself when Singer had business before the court – including a $2.4B dispute with the nation of Argentina.
When asked why he hid the trip from the American people, Alito not only refused to acknowledge the appearance of corruption, he published a defiant, vindictive op-ed in the Wall Street Journal.
This isn’t a mistake. It’s an ethical disgrace. It’s time for Alito to resign.

The Supreme Court wields immense power over the United States and the lives of everyday Americans. This same power seems to have inflated some justices' sense of infallibility, and now they are acting as if they are above the law.
Those justices work for the American people. But when they take expensive gifts, accept sweetheart deals from billionaire patrons, and then refuse any accountability, they’re no longer serving the public; they’re only serving themselves.
This all stinks of corruption, and it needs to end.
