Sign my petition: Let’s fix the banks

We have to toughen up bank regulation. Will you sign my petition calling on Congress to restore tough bank regulations?

Here’s the backstory:

After the financial crisis, we passed tough new regulations. The Dodd-Frank Act was designed to strengthen our banking system and ensure that large and mid-sized banks would be safe and secure. And after it passed, not a single large or mid-sized bank failed.

Then, in 2018, Donald Trump repealed key parts of the Dodd-Frank Act. And now, after nearly a decade of safe banking, in the space of a few days, we’ve seen the second and third largest bank failures in American history.

Americans work hard and we deserve a banking system that protects our money from sudden collapse and confusion.

Sign my petition today and tell Congress we need to bring back tougher bank regulations to ensure reckless bankers don’t put our economy and our jobs at risk.
