Will Oregon ban abortion, too?
Nearly 1 in 4 women in the US will have an abortion by age 45 — they're our family members, our friends, and our community, and we know their stories.
Some of them are women I have mourned with after a pregnancy they desperately wanted ended because of a miscarriage. Some of them are women who just knew it wasn't the right time for them to start or grow their family. Some of them are me.
Christine Drazan says as Governor she'll "follow the law" on abortion, but that's just to cover up what her strongest allies really want: to change the law, to make abortion illegal, right here in Oregon.
The right to an abortion — women's health care — is on the line in this election.
Tina Kotek has worked to strengthen our rights to reproductive health care. Drazan will take our rights away. With less than 20% support, Betsy Johnson is a spoiler candidate who can't win — a vote for Johnson is a vote for Drazan.
