My not-so-secret plan for victory in November

Getting close now: it's October, and we can count on one hand the number of Tuesdays left until Election Day. (And voting starts even sooner than that!)

We're getting right down to the wire, so I'll be direct: Would you chip in $3 right now to the Oregon Blue Victory Fund to help us get out the vote?

Here's the deal:

Many, many Oregon voters are now in newly-drawn districts. When they get their ballots they will be asked to fill in bubbles next to names of candidates they have never voted for before.

All the polling we are seeing shows that our crucial races — for three wide-open Congressional seats, for our next State House and Senate, and for Governor — could come down to the wire.

We are never going to outspend the deep pockets of the right, and as I'm sure you've already seen, the TV airwaves are already completely overwhelmed with competing messages.

So, how we get out the vote is everything.

The best tool we have to break through all this confusion is to give voters the opportunity to connect directly with a real person — someone who can answer their questions, listen to their concerns, and talk through the issues at stake on their ballot.

So in this final stretch, I'm going all in on making sure we have the people on the ground that we need to get our candidates over the finish line, and I would be deeply grateful if you would join me in this fight.
