Democrats stand united and get the job done

The House of Representatives approved the Inflation Reduction Act — sending this historic legislation to President Biden's desk for his signature. YES!

I want you to take a moment, and consider what we've done this summer:

• We're tackling climate chaos with the biggest clean energy investments in our nation's history.

• For seniors on Medicare, we're capping prescription drug costs at $2000 a year and insulin at $35/month.

• We're making sure that veterans harmed by toxic burn pits get the health care they need and deserve.

• We're bringing semiconductor manufacturing back to America, creating high-paying jobs and boosting national security.

• We passed the first gun safety legislation in 30 years — with enhanced background checks, new rules for gun dealers, and closing the "boyfriend loophole".

And we've done all that with just 50 Democratic Senators. It takes hard work, dedication, leadership and – most importantly – it takes unity.

Can you imagine what we can get done if we have 51, 52, 53, 54, or even 55 Democratic Senators next year?
