President Biden's plan to lower the cost of living — the Build Back Better plan — is critical for just about every family in America.
Now that it's passed the House, I'm focused on making sure that we don't trim it back any further. The tough compromises have been made. Now it's time to pass it.

Remember ObamaCare? We passed it, delivered health care to millions of Americans, and the Republicans spent years trying to undermine it, break it, defund it, and repeal it.
That's the next fight, over the horizon. We've got to pass Build Back Better—and deliver on affordable child care and universal pre-K, lower prescription drug prices, thousands of new clean energy jobs, more affordable housing, at-home care for seniors, and so much more.
And then we'll have to win elections in 2022 to defend our Democratic majorities to protect these big wins for the American people.
