Sign the petition: Move the 2022 Winter Olympics

By bringing nations together through sport, the Olympic Games seeks to build a better and more peaceful world. And in the midst of the pandemic, the Games just concluded in Tokyo showcased the power of sport to uplift and inspire.

Unfortunately, in less than six months, the 2022 Winter Games are scheduled to be hosted in Beijing.

The US State Department has determined that the Chinese government is engaged in genocide against the Uyghur people and committed crimes against humanity.

I am calling on the International Olympic Committee to postpone or relocate the 2022 Winter Games unless the Chinese government stops this genocide.

It is horrific.

It is unacceptable.

And it must stop.
