The infrastructure plan moving through Congress should be — must be — the most pro-environment investment in a generation.

Not only are we going to fix our crumbling roads and bridges, we're going to invest like never before in mass transit, remake our grid around clean energy, plug leaky oil and gas wells, retrofit schools to use less energy, supercharge our electric-vehicle future, and so much more.

I don't need to sell you on why we need to take big, bold action to make our clean, green future.

But I do need your help.

The oil, gas, and coal industries are fighting with all they've got. For too many politicians, "infrastructure" just means pouring endless seas of concrete.

And just as important: Republicans are insisting that any infrastructure plan be paid for by cutting other spending or charging "user fees" and tolls. I'm with President Biden, who has proposed paying for it by making billionaires and corporations pay their fair share.

So, I'm asking you to speak out to demand that Congress pass a big, bold, green infrastructure bill — and to pay for it by closing corporate tax loopholes.
