Have you heard what's happening with the Oregon Republican Party?

Shortly after the violent insurrection at the US Capitol by a mob wielding Trump flags and sharing their intentions to try to overturn the election to install Donald Trump for a second term – a mob that threatened Congress and the Vice President and killed one police officer and injured dozens – the leadership of the Oregon Republican Party cast a formal vote declaring it "a 'false flag' operation designed to discredit President Trump, his supporters, and all conservative Republicans."

This is what we're up against.

We aren't just trying to win elections to create a more fair, more progressive, more just society — we're literally waging a struggle for truth and democracy. The other side is peddling wild conspiracy theories to explain away people waging armed insurrection against our very Constitution!

So we better get to work.

In 2022, in Oregon, we will be electing a new Governor. We will likely have a new sixth congressional district. And redistricting will mean lots of legislators will be running in redrawn districts.

The stakes are high. We don't have a moment to lose. Our organizing work must start right now.
