What you need to know right now about voting (even if you've already voted)

All across America, folks are going to vote in person — or turning in their vote-at-home ballots to official drop boxes. You can find your location here.

Two things you need to know:

  1. If you're in line to vote when the polls close, you cannot be denied an opportunity to vote or turn in your ballot. (In Oregon, that includes being in your car in a line for a drive-up drop box.) Don't leave the line!

  2. If you — or anyone you know — experiences difficulty voting, wants to report problems with polling places, or needs legal help to ensure the right to vote, call 866-OUR-VOTE.

Finally, there is a strong likelihood that this election will not be called by the media for several days. It may take longer for votes to be counted in many states. That's a good thing. We will not allow Donald Trump and his allies to short-circuit the count.

We will ensure that every vote is counted and every American is heard.

This is election day. This is the day when We the People take back the power.

Onward!
