It's a toss-up in Alaska
This is Al Gross, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Alaska. Jeff Merkley asked me to reach out to you today to tell you about my campaign to flip this seat, defeat my Republican opponent, and turn the page on Mitch McConnell's failed status quo. Before I ask if you can chip in to help us succeed, I want you to see exactly why I know we have a real chance at winning this race:
A new Independent Alaska poll shows that I have a one point lead — 47% to 46% — over my GOP opponent, Dan Sullivan. With Alaskans already casting their ballots, right now is our moment to capitalize on this momentum and transform this toss-up into a lead to flip this Senate seat.
As you read this, my campaign is busy organizing voters and shoring up our support. I'm not taking a cent of corporate PAC money — instead, I'm relying on grassroots supporters just like you. Our campaign is building a people-powered movement to move Alaska and all of America forward. But that can't happen without your immediate support:
In an article titled "Alaska Senate race could be majority-maker," Washington Examiner wrote: "Recent polls suggest Gross, an orthopedic surgeon and commercial fisherman whose father was the state's attorney general, is surging, with less than 30 days to go before Election Day."
It doesn't take a doctor or an expert to understand that Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, and my opponent, Dan Sullivan, are simply not capable of properly leading us through this crisis. So with less than three weeks left in this race to get out the vote, we have to leave it all on the field and fight for every single vote. That's why I'm coming to you:
Please make a donation of $11 or more to help Jeff and I flip the Senate this November.
Thank you and stay safe,
Dr. Al Gross
